The Adept Photo Booth Perth Team was out and about this weekend with a Green Screen Photo Booth to launch the Heart of Gold Discovery Trail at The Perth Mint.
Following the launch of Perth’s first virtual gold trail in 2017, The Perth Mint played host to a free event to celebrate WA’s heart of gold and launch of the Heart of Gold Discovery Trail.
The official opening took place in the forecourt of The Perth Mint at 10:00am, with a host of fun, gold-themed activities for young and old. Attendees were then encourages to set out on the trail to discover 11 golden sites through the city to Elizabeth Quay the see the iconic Golden Eagle nugget replica.
The event included a number of interactive elements around the trail itself with participates able to collect a #heartofgold hat and eco-friendly tote bag to stash their free golden giveaways on the Heart of Gold journey.
The Perth photo booth activation wasn’t the only attraction available on the day with attendees also enjoyed a virtual reality experience put on by the WA School of Mines, live music, face painting and a BBQ put on by Full Belly Catering (who make great coffee at The Perth Mint Café too next time to swing by the area!). Master of Ceremonies, Tim McMillan, played host for the proceedings which saw a crowd gather early despite the threat of a few drops of rain.
The green screen photo booth activation was hosted by the Gold Industry Group as part of the Heart of Gold Discovery Trail event. With some replica gold nuggets as props, attendees of the event had the opportunity to take a photo with a background from various Western Australian mine sites. The green screen technology was a great addition to the theme of the day to connect visitors with the industry by placing them virtually on location at three different mine sites.
